Got a 360 for Christmas, is there a cable out there that will go from the 360 into the tele via a scart lead (I do not have an HD tele) and take a cable for my amp so I can have 5.1 sound. I had this for my Xbox so I am hopeful. If there is, perhaps I can have its name so I can look it up on the net. A chap in GAME seems to think that it is possible.

Yes there is, although most likely you will have to get the official microsoft cable. I dont think game sell that particular cable, but try pc world or simillar.

Dose your amp have an optical in as mine has an optical out (or which ever way round it is)so I just run an optical cable to my surround sound system and it works fine
