How to stop the slippy slidey

Featured Replies

Not a driving technique question (although wouls be useful in the current weather) but and one have a soluton to stop stuff sliding back and forward in the door pockets (other than cramming them full of wrapper/parking tickets/etc as used by SWMBO )

Any purpose made antislip mats like the one in the cubby under the radio?

Same goes for the boot the slip road: "shhhhh thunk" is incredibly annoying, do i remember seeing someone with bootnetsfrom a lower spec fab??

Lakeland Plastics sell non-slip drawer liners that are easily cut to shape for the door pockets. I bought the genuine boot liner and that stopped most of the sliding around in the back.

I found Tescos, and now i think Halfords and B&Q sell a non slip mat. You could cut that up to make it fit the door pockets.

for the boot you can get a boot tidy thing for about a fiver from wilkinsons. Its a bit crap though. I recently bought a small holdall and glued some velcro strips to the bottom and back of it.

holds all the crap i keep in the boot and sticks a treat to the carpet stuff. no more slidey bang bang for a fiver ;)

Door pockets on the vrs are pointless, can hardly fit anything in em!

?koda Accessories

(for bootliners)

?koda Accessories

(for luggage nets)

they are a bit pricey though imo

dont know anything for the door pockets, i'd probably go with the fuel receipts/car park tickets etc - buts thats becuase i'm a mucky ba****d at times!
