FMIC Photos

Featured Replies

Hi, I am looking into Intercoolers, done loads of searches on here and on seatcupra.net and cannot find what i'm after. I am looking for photos of FMIC mounted onto cars without the bumper. Just want to see what route the pipework takes. Looking into purchasing the Seat Sport intercooler, but cannot see how the pipework will fit aroud the bumper and also want to see how much clearance there is between parts. Finally, can anyone tell me hoe big the seat sport one is compared to the Forge kit. All I am after is physical dimernsion, I know it is bigger, just wanted to do some calculations before I decide which one to go for. I want to retain the std bumper bar, I may well cut it about a bit though! and I want to retain the std looking vRS front bumper

basicly....the joint that the crashbar goes onto the frame has to have a hole cut threw it, im trying to think of a way to explain it :o

the pipework goes threw the joint of the crashbar instead of round it but conects up just as normal.....if your getting the FMIC off of cav just get him another crashbar and you take his ! it will be easyer for you and is only a 2 min job to unbolt it

Just found another one on my comp Alex

Has anyone got any better pictures of where it goes through the crashbar and what is left of the crashbar?

Alex

Who needs a crash bar anyway?? :P

I'm sure it would be helpful to have some big circular holes cut in it to let more air through

IIRC Mr Grumpys has a piece of tube welded into the crash bar.

if you need a price ...pm me
