Just making sure really, is my Fabia 1.9TDI a PD engine, how do i find out? Need to know for may AmD oneclick gizzmo!

If it's the 100bhp, it should be a PD. You could also check the engine code, but I don't the correct code!!!

It'll be PD if it's a 75bhp, 100bhp or 130bhp on the Fabia. Engine code for the PD 100 is ATD I believe but there are a couple of variations :)

Cheers guys.

 PD100 ATD engine driven Fabia here. :D

The 3 letter engine code should be stamped somewhere around the top of the cylinder block where it is visible. But far easier to have a look at the sticker on the inside the front cover of the Service Schedule or a similar sticker on the boot floor under the carpet.

Or on the V5 doc.

Correct - but care to tell me which engine I have based on my (V5) engine number which is ARX******AUM. To help you, ARX and AUM are both codes for different versions of the 1.8T engine!

PS: I live and learn...
