Cheers Alex, its taken 2 days to get it back to this condition. Shame the same cant be said for the wheels. Salts got to the polished lip! On the hunt for a set of winter wheels the re-furb for these!

Nice looking car, lovely colour too :)

Smashing vRS mate.

That's a minter, one of the best yellow 'uns!!

Have made a few changes to the old girl so thought id post them up.

Bought a set of cheap 16" polo gti alloys, fitted today but unsure. The other wheels are getting refurbished as the salt has eaten into them badly!!!

Revised rear lights,

Small ariel (from Japan) still works well.

Well after spending 2 days with the wet and dry and autosol i have managed to get a shine back to my wheels. The salt had really taken hold and eaten away at the polished lip. This is what they looked like now, not perfect but alot better:):

After the polishing:

Wheels look better now, can't say the Gti wheels would be my first choice, sorry.

Aerial is the same as I have on my estate, although I painted mine but the black works well on the yellow of yours!

Glad to see you are keeping it well

The gti wheels arent my choice but came up for a price i couldnt refuse.

Old ones going back on in a week or so after some new tyres.
