... i got up at 6 am (CET) and looked on the thermometer and it showed -22 °C!

I tried to start the engine ... after having turned the key the sound of the engine starter was quite afflicted but then it startet after 8 turns of the starter...

Shifting the gears was quite difficult because the gearbox oil was quite hard...

I'm proud of my little felly that he works so well

Yesterday i had 28 cm of snow on it...

My Favorit started first time in the icy weather here. The 1.6 used to too.

Mine starts first time no matter what the only problem is that sometimes I have to climb in through the boot as the locks have froze:orb_froze usually only happens when I sleep in:rofl:

it started the first time, but the starter motor worked a bit longer to achieve it...

WD40 in the keyhole occasionally and/or the night before you know it's going to be really cold will cure that

i'll say this, you guys are making me feel so good to live in the tropics

-10 in Rheindahlen Germany at 0700, i will have wear long sleeves if it gets much colder.

remembered to put my gloves on to open the garage this morning though.

today it's quite tropical here... only -14,5°C

jesus christ!!!! if it gets colder you have to wear long sleeves, i'll be walking in a body bag if it where that cold, and dude, -14,5 is not tropical is cooler than the fridge, i have meats in the ice box at that temperature :s

but -14 is warm compared to -22

last summer we had 4 day with 40°C at day... this was also very ... crappy

Certainly woke me up but i also had a 180 mile journey and my thermostat had gave up the ghost so by the end of the journey i was like a frozen snotter

today i replaced the 55A alternator with a 70A one... hope for a faster recharging of the battery...
