Fabia outdoor temp fault

Featured Replies

I am new to this forum... but a regular on the Alfa forum (because it keeps going wrong)

On the other hand my wife has a fantastic 2003 Fabia TDI Elegance which has never missed a beat. Last summer the outside temp started reading -42 which was a bit annoying until we realised that it was also stopping the AC from working. I disconnected the outside temp sensor and the display went to ----0c. The Ac started working and I orderd a new sensor. Unfortuantly after fitting the new sensor the display has never reset and has remained ----0c. Haing lost the reciept I finally got round to buying another sensor which I plugged in at the weekend...the display remained at -----0c until today when it went back to - 42 0c

Any ideas greatfully recieved!!

Will

No idea, but try searching or posting here.

Hope you get it sorted.

A fault code check would help, more than lkely a wiring fault.
