Odd Sticker

Featured Replies

ive had my fabia over a year now and noticed it on day 1 but i never realy thought much of it. any way took a pic of it on my phone today so quality isnt the best and the fact its slightly dark and VERY unwashed doesnt help, but its under my rear door and by the wheel arch. ive kinda wiped around it. also its on both sides of the car.

It looks like a chip protector, I think.

thats what i thought, but are they common on the new model or has the dealer forgot to take it off?

Got them on mine. Doesn't show up much because its black.

It is indeed a chip protector and should be there. I usually can't see it on my red fabia unless I wash the car, but they look like they are doing the job :)

Nope! Don't have it on my new Fabia Estate. You shouldn't need chip protection on a panel shielded by the door. I have the usual chip protection everywhere else on external panels eg. sill areas and including the lower wheel arch. Is this sticker connected and/or part of a wrap around anti-chip protector that goes out around the lower wheel arch area on your car? If so, it looks as though the design of the protectors has changed or is simply different on the hatch to the estate.

Errrr....!!! Please ignore my earlier post. I was taking a kak eyed look at your photo and completely got the wrong end of the stick, I mean car! YES...I have them too!!!
