Hope all the repairs run smooth for you.

Sory to hear this mate. I did the doors on mine last week so I know hoe you must be feeling.

Had the estimator come out today and I will be getting a new door and possible new sill. At least the other driver left her details and didnt just do a runner. The bollard that hit my car didnt even say sorry!!:P

Just seen this.

WTF? Did they take a running start to hit you?

Looks quite bad but atleast they left the number etc

I agree with comment above, how fast were they going to do this, or why did they keep going once they had made contact?

I had my old Octavia doors wrecked while in the 'secure car park' at the airport - no name left but they went down the rear panel, both doors and bent the skins - £1200 to get fixed:mad:.

One issue is why are car park spaces so small. I am told that the car park widths are still based on the 1970s car widths while todays cars are a bit wider.

Hope it gets fixed soon - nice colour by the way - same as me:thumbup:

Just spotted this too and OMG  sorry to see this and i hope all goes well with the repairs etc.

Tomorrow (Monday) my Superb goes to the Body Doctors to have its two transplants (Doors) . Having a Chrysler 300c as a courtesy car  Sat in it and was not impressed at all. The Chrysler has less leg room front and back than the Superb and yet the external proportions match a Challenger Tank. If anyone is interested I will post my opinions of it when my Superb is better :)

I will also post pics of the repaired car once I get it back in two weeks time.

Finally had the car back today. Six weeks of driving a Chysler 300C around and added 3000+ miles to it. The Chysler is pants compared to the Superb. The best thing about it being the V6 Diesel (Mercedes?) Motor. Build quality was erm......disapointing to say the least. Perhaps that is why the USA motor industry in in such dire straights. Strange thing is I saw 5 C300s on the road and not one Superb.

My car now looks fabulous again and as I promised pictures of the finished job. My thanks to Parry and Blockwell and Fred Rees Garages in Haverfordwest for putting up with me. At least my car has 3000 miles less than it should have:) Total cost was £2200 + another £1800 for the hire of the C300.

Now we know why our insurance premiums are so high. Thank goodness it was not my insurance company footing the bill.

Its good to see the saga drawing to a close, looks like a good quality repair as well.
