I enabled this today and choose to unlock the doors when keys are removed, however its opening all doors when i pull the keys out and not just the ones that were opened at the start of the journey, is there a way of doing this so only the doors at the start of the journey open?

Not sure but i think it depends on how your car is set up. For example if you have one press of key fob opens driver door only when you get in and the AH enables when you stop and take keys out only drivers door unlocks. If you have it set up so all doors unlock on key press then all doors unlock one removing key. This is the way it works on mine.

mine has the one blip and opens driver door, two blips opens all doors, but whenever i remove the keys to get out every door + boot become unlocked, i was under the impression when you removed the keys only the doors that were opened at the start of the journey unlocked and the others had to be pulled twice from inside?

I also have my remote set up to unlock only the driver's door on one click, but mine only unlocks the driver's door when I take the key out of the ignition (I am certain of this, because it annoyed my missus until she got used to pulling the passenger door release handle twice).

I think there is a separate choice for which doors unlock at the end of the journey when you take the key out of the ignition :

A Driver's door only unlocks (and one pull of a particular passenger door handle unlocks that door, a second pull opens it, or the driver can unlock all doors with the button near the handbrake).

B All doors unlock

Either option is selectable by the MFD in my Octy (I use option A, as there is mostly only the driver in our car, but if I carried passengers a lot I would select option B).

It is probably documented in the usual slightly confusing style in the owner's manual.

I don't think that it keeps track of what door was opened at the start of the journey so only that door gets unlocked at the end. Doubtless it could be set up to be programmed that way, as it could collect all the info needed to do just that - I sometimes think these cars have more brain power than some of the people who drive them. ;)

If you unlock only the drivers door and get in drive off and AH enables when you stop and get out it should only be the drivers door that unlocks when you remove the key. Thats how it works on mine. If you have unlocked all the doors then all will unlock at end of the journey

ah just as i thought earlier when i had a play, if i only unlock the drivers door and then pull the handles from inside of the doors i want unlocked then only them doors are unlocked at end of journey, looks like its solved... swmbo dont like it when i drop her off as she has to pull twice on her handle to get out

If you want to keep in good with SWMBO just press the unlock button down near the handbrake as you are pulling up to stop. It may lock again as you drive off (I can't remember whether it does or not).
