Can anyone tell me if the cigarette plug connection in the car or the boot is active when the ignition key is removed.

Definately are...as i found out when i came out next morning, and my daughters dvd player was still playing.

Has never been as sharp on starting since then either..surprised the battery never died.

Are they standard fag lighter voltages or are they at all differnent?

Thank you for the quick reply, its that I have a Solar battery monitor which works off the cigarette plug and was wondering if this was still active when I took the ignition key out and locked up the car.

Do all fabia's have a cigarette plug in the boot?
