Look at this one, Its have som kind of sport pack..Never seen before...

Skoda Superb X 1.8T Sportpaket

They are Passat Sport seats (a straight swap), and its an Octavia steering wheel. Pretty sure thats an aftermarket exhaust too with the bumper simply cut to suit.

So maybe nothing to get excited about ;)

Also are they the Comfort 16" Metan wheels on it?

I would say yes, they look pretty familiar to me.

As for the Passat seats, interesting... I think I know the answer to this already, but would the rear bench fit?

Yep agree with all of the above, and I am confident that the rear bench wouldn't fit JB.......:(

Yeah, so'm I. I was kind of hoping someone would surprise me though :(

I think it WOULD fit. The Superb simply has a few mm of floor over the Passat.

I'm suitably surprised!

*goes off to find Passat Sport with half leather*

I am pretty sure that the centre arm rest will cause problems........

Go to your local scrappy and ask them if you could try one to see

Found this news for 2006 model in sweden:

Att Skoda Superb får ny ratt, med och utan multifunktion, ny skinn/alcantaraklädsel, utökad kromdekor runt främre luftintaget under registreringsplåten, eluppvärmd framruta och Bolid 16-tumsfälgar som nya tillval och sportpaket med 20 mm lägre chassi, treekrad sportratt och sportavgasrör.

It says : New steeringwheel with or whitout multifunktion, new seats with leather/alcantara, chrome in front, electric heated front window and Bolid 16 inch rims

and sport package with 20 mm lowered chassie 3 spoke steeringwheel and sport exhaust.

Don't forget you will also need them from a non split folding (rear seat) Passat.

I'm pretty sure the seat squab will be no issues, it will the back rest or more to the point head rests that may not be compatible.

In the Superb there are 3 metal brackets screwed to the bulkhead which hold the headrests (and the backrest) in place.

In honesty I'm happy with my back seats, so if I can get something that compliments the trim on the rear I'll be happy. That said the S6 interior is pretty sweet, and a straight swap.

Anyone got any thoughts on retro-fitting split fold rears?

Yes - don't do it!!

It will be major work, to start off you will need to cut the rear bulkhead out, not sure if that will weaken the shell significantly tho'.

The S6 seats are good i must admit ;) pity the rears wont go in, i thought about getting my rears re trimmed to match the fronts but they wanted silly money to do it.

Anyone got any thoughts on retro-fitting split fold rears?

Where the heck would you source an S6 interior from............

A fair point. Hence why I'm so excited about a Passat Sport interior...

OK next question, where are you going to source a Passat Sport Interior? Can't imagine there would be that many lying around..........whats wrong with the standard Superb Arm Chairs any way.............

Where do i start? how about the lack of a proper lumbar support (like you only get on the electrically adjustable seats) Ideally you want an electrically adjustable set out of an Superb Elegance :rofl: good luck finding them!

The biggest problem with S6 ones is getting them to match the rears, unfortunately the state of my back meant that function over matching seats won.

Do you have any pics of these S6 seats fitted then?

Have a look here mine are blue leather, which although they don't match the rears or door cards they are the same colour as the car so don't look too bad, and they off much better lumbar adjustment.

Good work mate, not sure how I missed you having fitted these........

I managed it as well, until recently

The Passat Sport probably has my vote as they're more "readily" available than S6's in scrap yards, cheaper, and more to the point half leather.

I'm one of these people that thinks that whilst leather is really nice it's lacking in practicality.

Cheers.

The S6 seats are the best i have had so far (including Recaro's in a M3) im not sure what Audi do with their seats, but these are much better than all my previous BMW leather seats, they are warmer in winter (never had heated seats), i have yet to find them too hot in the summer and i don't slide around on them - bonus i would say.

How did you get around wiring them into the Comfort vehicle harness then as I assume this wouldn't be set up for eletric heated seats?

Mine are not heated, so that Bit was easy! lol

Fortunately i had i heavy duty power supply with a twin fuse block behind the glove box that used to supply the car phone kit, so for me it was a simple case of running a twin core cable to each seat (next to the OEM seat loom that runs under the carpet) back to this fuse block, so they are now individually fused - i searched on here for the rating it's something like a 20 or 30A IIRC?.

Audi airbag plugs (the yellow ones) are different to Skoda's as well so the plugs will also need swapping over.
