need help installing sub?

Featured Replies

basically as the title says ive bought a sub woofer and i know exactlly where all the wires go but i need to get the power lead to go from the battery and through the back of the engine bay so the lead comes out behind the dashboard and then i can travel the lead to the back of the car.

so does anybody know where there is a weak spot in the back of the engine bay so i can pass the lead through?

Search should bring up a few threads and some pictures on how to do it.

yeah ive done that but nothing on where to get the lead through

I brought mine through a grommet in the bulkhead, brings it out at the back of the glovebox. Take the glovesbox out and you should be able to see it. Most foke run it through underneath the scuttle panel i think though.

how big is the rubber grommet is it easy to see and easy to remove? that sounds like the best idea to me passing it through there.

The Vrs has a grommet that other models don't necessarily (as I found). This can be resolved with a drill.

Thats a brill guide thanks for that wish i saw that when fitting mine lol
