I have the common problem of the cruise control only working occassionaly on my 05 plate. It sometimes turns itself off when going 70 on the motorway too. I think it may turn off when I indicate but I cant 100 percent say this.

So today I fancy taking the stalk apart and check the contacts. Is there an easy method for this?

The stalks on earlier cars were indeed faulty, it's a new stalk i'm affraid but they are not that expensive. If you PM VRStu and ask him nicely he may have some left.
