cassette to cd?

Featured Replies

My octavia estate has the cd changer with the cassette. Is it possible to change the cassette to a cd and still use the cd changer? If so, what is the model number and anyone know where to get one?

which car do you have and current model of stereo?

Its a 51 plate octavia 4x4 estate. Not sure what the model number of my current cassette is but it is a genuine Skoda one. I want to change it to a cd one as its driving me nuts having to go in the boot to change a cd. I'd like to keep to a genuine skoda one. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks very much.

Well I've just replaced my standard Symphony CD and was going to eBay it but if you're interested?

To retain use of the OEM changer you will need to purchase an OEM unit with CD instead of tape, no other manufactures headunit can control the changer. The symphony CD was the only official one available.
