Ignition Coil & Catalytic Converter

Featured Replies

At the start of last summer I had 4 ignition coils replaced (first 1, then no 2, then no's 3 and 4 together).

Of course the Cat had to be replaced as well as it went.

Can anyone verify (Southern Ireland rules apply here:D) if an ignition coil goes again within 12 months (as it did yesterday), is it covered by warranty ie parts warranty?

Does anyone know about the rule which applied to WV, if it applies to Skoda as well, that if two ignition coils blow, that you got all four for the price of the two?

Please help, as I'm sure I've been caught out somewhere along the line. I will be staying far away from the dealer from now on anyway as their service is CR*P:thumbdwn:

Thanks all!!
