Greetings,

Finally got my rear in gear and joined freedom . And I can proudly present my car in Member's cars.

I've owned it for just over a year now and absolutely love it, apart from last November/December when everything seemed to break at the same time! I have modified it slightly and plan to do more it the future.

Details of car as follows:

2002 Skoda Octavia VRS in yellow.

Engine: 1.8T 20v with Forge TIP, Forge blue silicone intake hoses, Forge 007P recirc valve, Forge DV Relocation kit, Forge alloy and carbon oil catch tank, Carbonio carbon fibre CAI, DIY FMIC. Superpro poly dogbone mount bushes, R-Tech spec 1.5 remap

Car has been rolling roaded with current mods and gave 225bhp and 2511ftlb of torque.

Exhaust: APR Downpipe and 200cel cat, Blueflame Stainless steel Cat back

Suspension: AP Coilovers, Powerflex poly bushes, S3 front strut brace and a Whiteline adjustable rear anti roll bar.

Brakes: CRN Performance grooved discs all round with Tarox .401 pads at front and Ferodo DS at the rear

Wheels and tyres: Standard wheels with VRS badges. Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tyres all round

Bodywork: Milotec front grille, LCR front splitter, Tinted windows and crome bonnet lifters.

Interior and ICE: Standard VRS half leather interior with the addition of oil temp, oil pressure and boost gauges mounted on the A-pillar.I Sony bluetooth headunit powering Alpine front components, Sony xplod 6x9 rear speakers and a 10inch active sub in the boot. Not rediculously loud, but sounds reasonable.

Cheers guys,

Those pics were taken at white horse hill but the car isn't that shiny at the mo, it's almost black with all the salt and muck off the roads!

Finally got an exhaust for it this weekend, Nice shiny Blueflame stainless cat back system. Quite surprised at how quiet it is, only just louder than standard. Which is great as I use the car for motorsport where noise limits can be imposed. I have noticed the turbo now spins up sooner so it's all good. And what's even better is my insurance company didn't increase my premium for it.

Just got to sort my FMIC and then it'll be ready for that remap.

lol nice one mate, if you get a cat on it it will be even better, and with the TIP you got youll get a few more bhp with a custom map:thumbup:

take it ill see you on the 24th? lol

billy

Nice :)

Might do a downpipe and cat one day, but just can't justify the expense at the mo. I'll be there on the 24th, looking forward to it.

Well, I found myself a nice APR Downpipe and 200cel cat for a reasonable price, thanks to a member on here, so it now runs a full turbo back stainless system. Got it on the rollers at R-Tech yesterday and was very pleased, 196bhp and 191ftlb, which is an excellent figure from a standard map.

Just gotta decide which remap to go for now.
