i have not had any TMC messages available since 5pm tonight. When i have looked before i have always had about 7/8 messages in the system. but now its says no messages available. i find this very odd.i cant believe there are no messages.

I am concerned as the car has been to the dealer today and seems to have come back wih more faults than it went in with. i am wondering if this lack of TMC is another issue ?

There is more chance that its either a reception issue (RDS-TMC is sent via FM frequencies over Classic FM's band in the UK) or an issue with the data provider (itis or trafficmaster I think). Unless you have changed a setting within the satnav?

I have seen this once before, usually have around 50-60 messages on the way to work and sometimes I dont get any.

TMC is pretty poor IMHO. I did disable TA's, but as it missed so many on TMC, I have turned traffic news back on.

This is on the Blaupunkt system in a Mk4 Mondeo BTW.

must have been the TMC transmitting station. jsut checked tonight and got about 12 messages in there.
