Black magic, is this tricky to re-paint ?

Featured Replies

I was looking at my paint the other day in the sun and as well as thinking what a great colour it is, with what look like several different mettalic particles in the paint..... thinking how hard it looks for a paintshop to match this up if it ever got damaged !

Are paint shops used to this kind od thing, is it different to a standard mettalic or pearl ? ...... is the paint mixed on site or purchased through the manufacturer ?

Paul.

Black magic. Colour code: 9910 has 11 alternate shades in Dupont Cromax. It is difficult to get the exact match but you'll struggle to see the different between them unless you have a very keen eye.

Dark colours i.e Black are about the easiest colours to match where as the lighter you go the more difficult it is.

Thats a very specific reply, thanks. It's a really smart colour when it's clean and the suns on it.... I'll try not to damage it ! lol

ive done a stone chip (4x3mm) on my car and messed up the laquer, both not noticable unless you are looking for it.
