Not Sure I'd a done it, don't like that fact it straight up just doesn't fit..

but hats of to him!

rest of link here,

ParanoidTimes Blog Archive Einbau eines MFD2-RNS2

but it's in German. Google'll translate it for you but it doesn't tell you much about how he did it.

He deserves to be shot!

Truely horrendous effort. Think he crow-barred the MFD in there.

Apart from the fact it's too wide for a Fabia Mk1 dash - good effort! ;)

It's sticking out a fair way isn't it?!

I agree it's not pretty.. if you squint it looks good ;)

The photo is actually complimentary too.. as I'm sure at the right angle in the wrong light it'll stick out (literally) like a saw thumb.

Page says it's all working though, that is indeed a good effort but I don't quite understand why he bothered, as I thought The whole point of using OEM parts is to look OEM, right? This looks worse than a cheap 2 din unit would!

.

I don't think it will work properly, to be honest. Or he's got some horrific conversion bodge going on. As an MFD2 wouldn't be directly compatible with a Fabia 1's wiring and comms interface.
