Are they designed specifically to fit either passenger or drivers side?

I seem to remember Lummox mentioning that in WW's re-build he had swapped the seats over?

In short can I swap the seats over? (FWIW no airbags or heating to worry about)

They are handed by the adjustment levers, side pockets and seat belt clip etc. Can't see it possible to swap them over without a lot of work

Just to clarify from what I remember - please note I have not seen the seats in person for quite some time - the cloth in my case was fitted 'swapped'

The physical seats themselves are fitted at the correct side of the car. What Ross did was remove the airbags (that had gone off) after removing the old cloth, fill the holes left by the side-airbag removal with other material, and then recovered with a set that was purchased from someone who had done a leather conversion

There is a pocket on the cover that is meant to be facing towards the other seat (i.e. the pocket is to the left on the driver side, to the right on passenger side in a UK car). Ross reversed this.

Not a problem for me
