Might be worth a punt for £60!!

Get the leak sorted (shouldn't be anything too major) and give those arches a quick clean up and you should be able to make a few quid on it... and if not... a little project or something.

If you have somewhere to store it then sure, why not. But tbh its quite a tatty example in an undesireable colour - no money to be made imho.

Buy it,strip it and sell the parts. I've already made back what I spent buying the A4 avant on selling parts from it.

Where does the oil leak look like it's coming from? Might be something as simple to fix as a loose rocker cover bolt.

The rocker cover gasket, camshaft (front) cover gasket, and the 6 rubber bungs in total for them both are all cheap from a dealers. Mine had a leak coming from the fuel pump blanking plate on the front of the engine. I cleaned it up and smothered the area with some sort of "silicone gasket" stuff and that seemed to have cured that leak. Think I have another from somewhere else now but it's less than half a litre per 500 or so miles.

Guy seems to think it's coming from the oil sump somewhere :S How similar are the Favorit and Felicia engines anyway? Would many parts be transferrable?

If it's a pressed tin sump, the repair's easily DIYable, but unless NI car prices with test are higher than UK, I'm not sure there's much actual profit in it.

Could well be the timing cover oil seal leaking and running around the sump, only about 7 quid to buy but quite involving to fit.

The Favorit and Felicia engines are the same if you have the same variation of each engine.
