Have had both these problems for a while and would like to sort them out now I have some free time. If I use the lock button on my drivers door all the doors lock, then the front passenger door unlocks. It also occasionally locks of unlocks if I go over a bump. On the few times it has been in the garage over the past two years no one has found the cause of the fault, I doubt that they really looked.

In order to open my boot after parking the car I have to use the latch beside the drivers seat or open one of the rear doors before using the button on the boot. The button itself works once in a blue moon. Was told at the garage that it was a faulty actuator and had it replaced but that hasn't sorted the problem.

What should I be looking at? and are the two problems related?

What model of car and trim level?

Forgot the useful information. 2002 Fabia 1.4 Mpi, comfort, as far as I know. Bought it secondhand almost two years ago now.
