Hi, has anybody ever replaced the standard steering wheel for a multi function variant?

I have a 2005 octi II and have changed the standard radio to an MFD2 and would like to change the steering wheel too. can anyone offer a sugestion?

Yes, you'll need the steering wheel, the buttons and a new airbag wiring loom. This is also assuming that you have the correct steering controller and slip ring arrangment.

If your current wheel is a 4 spoke then the airbag is ok.

In truth a good used one would be ideal. Most new ones come in from Europe and given the Euro at the moment they are working out expensive. Unless of course you are already using Euro
