80,000 miles today

Featured Replies

Looking at the odomoeter today I realised that I went past 80,000 on the clock without realising. This means the current engine has now reached 80,000 miles, with precisely 72,640 of those miles in my chassis. Hard to believe that my mongrelling all finished in September 2005 and the car has been running in this form for well over 3 years now. Still going strong too, and reliable!

Hopfully not been jinxed now:confused:

Me too. :D It has been a learning curve since doing it though and there has been plenty of r&r needed, especially within the first few months.... :o I expect Wiebo's car will just carry on as it was before without so much as a murmur.

80k? pppffft n00b :P

come back when youve past 120k (on the standard clutch too) :D

good going though.. goes to prove if you give a chimp a spanner its not always going to be a disaster :rofl:

compliment or insult? To be fair, my mechanic mate did most of the serious work so there is no reason for it to be any different than a normal vRS. :D
