i have just got given a fabia 1.9 sdi

it needs the brakes done. the brake pipes are burst and i need new ones. where can i get one in glasgow area and a price would be good aswell

and im having problems with the rear lights they are not cumming on. i have changed the bulbs and fuses. there still not cumming on. is this is a normal problam or just mines :P

You should be able to get flexible or rigid brake pipes from most motor factors without too much difficulty. When you say you have no rear lights, do you mean just the tail lights or the reversing, brake lights etc? Whichever lights are not working you going have to check the circuits with a meter until you find where the voltage is missing, I would start at the fuse box.

I'd say the light problem is almost defo the brake light switch, I had 2 go on my sdi. Its an easy job to do providing you get the latest type of switch which is green.

Check the earths for the rear light clusters. Has the car had repair work at the back recently?

its had no work done on the back end. i have checked the clusters and the earths and fuses. i think its the switch for them . new one getting orderd hopefully that will work
