Finally my first update!

Featured Replies

Since buying my VRS in December all i've done to it is fit a new headunit and a PD160 inlet & a K&N. I've slowly been building up a stock pile of nice shiney parts in my parents garage. So i finally managed to get some ramp time and got the springs, shocks, RARB & Strut brace fitted. Then went around to my mates place to get a new set of Falkens fitted to my newly finished TT Comps - fully Polished too!

Hope you like! Ride is much tighter and feels much more sure footed around the twisty road on the way home!

Protected with Wheel wax - about 6 layers ontop of the 3 tubes of autosol I used to polish the wheels!

I am in love with those wheels!

my advice, poorboys wheel sealant, ive tried a few others and they are not a patch on the PB's

cool but nightmare

7 weeks its taken me on and off to polish them! I paid £200 for them and they were to put none to fine a point on it "totally ******ed!"

Put the Skoda centre caps in them this morning and also picked up a set of these:-

They are genuine Las vegas table dice drilled with the right thread for the dust caps! Also picked up myself a set of the blue/orange indicator bulbs!

312mm brakes, remap and exhaust are next on the cards!

Try having White wheels to clean :(

i agree, i dig those wheels too

Its a Bilstein Streetline 40mm springs and shock kit - but I measured the front before and after and the rear before and after and the front has dropped 50mm and the rear 45mm! Its settling nicely!

Clutch is already on 80K so I think its due! Remap will be soon!

make sure u uprate ur clutch, if not it will eat through the new one, and just slip through 1st , 2nd ,3rd why have that power when u cant use it, i learnt the hard way lovely stage 3 custom remap and then 3 months l8er a lovely new £700 clutch bill i wasnt expecting

I need to sell my other car (mk2 Golf GTD) to pay for remap and new clutch - going to replace the DMF with an OEM Sachs one and a sachs sports cover plate & sintered plate! :)

sounds spot on

Zymol!

the one in the spray ?

my advice still stands, poorboys !

Any chance of getting some better pics up mate, interested to see what the ride height looks like.

I've had polished wheels in the past and I'd say the only way of keeping them looking like that through the winter is to use winter wheels and stick the comps in the shed. I tried plently of different sealants and waxes and nothing gave decent proctection.
