Looking forward to picking up a Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Just wanted to get involved in this brilliant forum and community. Reading around convinced me to get a 2004 Fabia VRS, picking it up on Saturday and am really excited to see the improvement over the old 306 HDI DTurbo.

I have a bit of a question too. I work for a company that does remaps, so this is a no brainer (according to all the posts), and the PD160 air intake seems a must also. What I was wondering though is what is the next best thing to do? I'm thinking more handling than all out performance. Some posts say LSD, some coil-overs, some anti-roll bars, uprated clutch etc. What in your honest opinions would be a good next step in modding, without spoiling what seems to be a good car as standard for day to day commuting and the occasional weekend backroad blast?

welcome along to the site.

Hello :)

It depends on budget etc. But rear ARB, some Koni FSDs with some Eibachs, or coilovers, front strut, 312mm brakes, bit of a remap.

If you're feeling a bit flush, FMIC, hybrid turbo like a Turbodynamics stage 2 for example :)

All good fun :)
