Felicia Pads...

Featured Replies

it depends which calipers you have

the one with the raised bit in the centre is for a lucas/girling caliper

the one with the two ears that stick out are for the kelsey-hayes caliper

it should be easy to wok out which pads ones you need, if you whip the wheel off the one with the raised centre part has a kind of butterfly spring attached to it which you should be able to see through the 'window' in the caliper, and tbh this is the type you ae most likely to have

Unless you plan on giving the brakes a good hammering, Green Stuff pads IMO are no good for general use, they need a good bit of heat in them to work at their best

And, when you do get some heat into Green Stuff, it promptly warps the discs. Better to look for Mintex M1144 or Pagid Fast Road, which come in from cold, and don't make as much dust as standard compounds do.

Greenstuff don't need any heat in them to get them working (neither do the red ceramic) however I wouldn't put the greens near my car in a month of sundays.

Just get the OEM replacement parts from GSF or another vendor IMHO.

whats wroung with the green ones?

whats wroung with the green ones?

IMO f*****G ****. Ive had better results from a set of cheapies. Greenstufs eat discs too

i use greens on zerosixty grover discs, the setup works well when a little heat has built up.

unfortunately were i live all the bridges flood several times a year. after a good dunking in some ice cold water the greens don't work AT ALL!
