It sure helps if you can put the power down, and a Quaife was a good investment for that ;)

It is still a heavy lump up front, and that will never help let's be honest. I just enjoy driving it, it is fast enough, economical, and it works :)

tried against a type r in my mates hybrid.... got blow off... no traction... cant polish a turd
quite correct......hondas are sh1te:D
how would buying the usual suspects of off the shelf bolt-ons make a car one off?

Read my sig.... Leather is a one off aint it? The turbo was my choice as was where I got it mapped up?

So when you do your house up....... Its just the same as everyone elses and you can buy everything off the shelf?

starts in c and ends in k

a) Do the work to your car to become a 250+bhp car.

or

B) Save the money - give the woman of your dreams a day to remember.

Goodluck

From experiance both actions will eventually seem like your pouring money into a bottomless pit whilst getting less and less out of it as time goes on.

I suppose you can always sell the car to make some cash back.....

Now that's the best answer so far.....

I wasn't viewing sigs at the time but now that I am I see you do indeed have all the usual off the shelf bolt-ons

I agree with your self-assessment ;)

You know my opinion, but then I've done it, and never planning on getting rid of the car. The economics of heavy modifying only come good if you keep the car for years and years afterwards. :)

But you'll never be able to stop modifying your car. :P

I think you should do it if it was that easy???

What has the difficulty (or lack thereof) of fitting parts to a car got to do with making it a "one off"?

Did anyone say that a stg 2 turbo from TD, FMIC, exhaust and suitable map was't the sensible way to go? No (and let's be honest, in terms of bang/buck it's awesome). My question was how does fitting basically the same parts as everyone else who goes down the route of modifying their Fabia vRS past just a remap make a car "one off".

I thought the phase of the Fabia vRS driver being unable to see past someone not wetting themselves over their car and going on the offensive was over...well done

My modified Fabia is definately a one off, no question.

Who else has one with no interior to speak of........

I'll sell it to you if you like..:D

Question here...

How would you make a one off car?

Not every car has the same outputs, so would that not class it as "one off"??

Tweaks and car care would class a one off to me
