Well just before Christmas bought a TFS1 VRS estate - at the time it looked like a good deal. Now looking at where prices have gone perhaps not! But hey ho who buys a car to make money.

We plan on having it a good few year (heres hoping the VAG build quakity still exists).

Really impessed with the car - catch it right and it is really quick. What is surprising is that at times when I think I will easily lose a car - when going up a slip road to an A road or motorway - I am surprised by how close an ordinary car is. Often I am not pulling away at all.

We had an ST220 for a while and same thing it just did not pull away from a std Mini Cooper. In gear yes but otherwise no.

I am not a boyy racer but where I know it is 2 lanes into 1 M25/A3 south for example I like to get out of the way.

Expect some regular postings and in the future I am sure we will consider remap.
