climatronic prob is back

been having a problem with my climatronic lately the mixer flap keeps sticking i had a look today and found the control arm that operates the flap and gave it a push which seemed to free it up, i think the servo is a bit iffy, is it easy to replace it? i think i might be able to access it without taking the centre console apart as the operating leaver is in the centre but you can get hold of it via the gap in the side underneath

Can't open driver's window without holding onto button

65 Reg Octavia estate All my other windows work ok but on the driver's door window I have to hold down the button until the window is fully open. A quick press of the button closes it just fine but opening is the problem. There's no info in the manual that helps I can't help thinking I've had this problem before and somehow solved the problem but I can't remember how. My online research suggested holding the button down until it opened fully and continue holding for a few seconds, then closi

Hi, hopefully you won't mind my question here - I don't have an Octavia, but its close relative from a Spanish brand. But mechanically, they are same. Anyway, I have a 77kW CBZB. It worked flawlessly for the year I own the car, but when this summer started, I noticed occasional loss of power. It only happens in hot weather (around 30 degrees and up) with AC on. In most cases, it happened when I wanted to accelerate after mild climbing at lower gear at ~2000RPM. It feels almost like a limp mode

I have had an ongoing problem for 2 years with my 2018 Kodiaq .2.0l TSI battery losing charge over a few days and the battery charging randomly at different charge rates. To date I have had: 2 replacement batteries (at my cost) then under Extended Warranty (now expired) 1 replacement negative battery lead (with sensor) 1 replacement alternator Symptoms (monitored with Ancel Battery Manager device and multimeter) Battery discharges in a few hours from 100% SoC /12.8v to around 65% then conti

2017 octavia 2.0 tdi . smoke from exhaust, whistling noise from turbo, burning oil. smoke looks whiteish/blueish. turbo pipes all ok. burning alot of oil. no fault codes or eml lights. only light on dash is orange oil can light
