RARB - Adjustable or Fixed???

Featured Replies

I have the chance to get a new fixed Whiteline RARB for £80, but is it worth it paying the extra £60 for the adjustable one???

Thanks

John

TBH once it's fitted I don't think you would ever adjust it anyway. I know I have only adjusted it only once, started on medium and thought I'd try the hardest and have stuck with that setting ever since (over a year now). Save the £60 and buy the bargain one

I agree with Lex Dysia,

I fitted a Whiteline RARB (Adjustable) a year ago, set it on 2nd fixing hole, been on the car over a year and have never changed the setting.

You only need an adjustable one if you are setting the car up

for different race tracks :)

Cheers guys. I rang up and he put it to one side. I went to pick it up and it was for a mk IV Astra:confused: how he got a mk IV astra mixed up with a mkIV Golf is beyond me. The price for the Golf one..... £175. I have sourced them from another shop locally at £120 fixed and £136 adjustable so I'll go there.
