Finally got around to looking around one properly today. These are my thoughts.

1. I'm fairly neutral on the new front end. Maybe it looks slightly better in the metal than pictures.

2. The new wing mirrors are horrible compared to the old ones.

3. I don't like the new 4 spoke steering wheel, especially without leather. Somehow I didn't mind it so much in the new Superb.

4. The new hard plastic on the interior door pulls is HORRIBLE. So nasty and cheap. Very Vauxhall.

5. The new instruments look a bit nicer.

Overall, I prefer the pre-facelift car. Also had a go in a mk6 golf today too which was a definite improvement on the mk5. Except for the wobbly center console / arm rest I'd say it felt on a par with my (pre facelift) Octy 2.

The controls on the inside Climatronic are a lot better on the facelift.

I see one site in Europe is saleing the facelifted Climatronic unit... I wonder can that be fitted easily or really worth it?
