Smokin'!

Featured Replies

Hey there guys... just a quick one.

Started the car up today just to move it and noticed there was white smoke being produced from the exhaust.

Is this normal? Gave it a rev and it stopped.

The car has been sat since Friday afternoon and it is cold.

Thanks

Phil

keep an eye on it, white smoke from the exhuast is normally steam from a bown gasket probably but in this case it's more likely to be condensation..

the 1.3spi is very good at pretending its got a blown head gasket. it just likes to keep you on ya toes

Lol.

Will keep an eye on it.

No signs of cream under the filler cap, oil in the water or coolant dissapearing.

Thanks

Phil

Yeah in deed... it's because the spi favors the formation of condensation water...

Last year my felly stood in the garage for one week because i went on holiday with another one and after starting the engine he blew lot of white smoke...
