Would definately recommend this to anyone thinking about it... very comfortable!

You might also want to get the heated seat controller and wiring if you're considering it too.

Think they're down in Whales though!

Phil

Just checked the sat nav and looks like they're in north west wales.

75 quid postage for the complete set, he's got to be kidding

Trying to get as much as he can for them, splitting the set up.

Being a bit greedy there, what if you want the full set but miss out on one of them.

Yeh it does seem a bit stupid.

Perhaps he could be swayed with a message and a decent buy it now price.

No idea how much the leather from these are worth... I guess as much as someone is willing to pay!

Phil

Won by different bidders

Lol.

Went for around what I though they would.

Wonder if they're paying for delivery or collecting them?!

Just stumbled accross this thread in google today!

I bought the front seats from that guy last week, and you were right about him being greedy by listing them seperate, but i think it may have jumped up and bit him in the ***! because he asked me after the auction if i wanted the rear seats and door cards too. I was going to buy the door cards but missed them so i said i'd give him a couple of quid for them, but the rear seats are not much cop in my pickup :)

anyway, the front seats are f'in brill! so comfy, in the lounge at the mo till my truck has been sprayed!

toodleloo

 result

A lot of people do that though.

Splitting items to get more money for them.

If somethings a set i sell them as a set purely for my own convenience!!

BTW Philje how's the stalk in Nelly?

right guys i now need some help! these front seats i bought need wiring in soon, but i have no idea how!

they each have a six pin connector on the underside (~like a iso block from radio with pins missing)

i have the controls from the dash, they have two heat controls, and two other switches are these elec window or do they controll seat back stiffness or something cos why else do i need 6 wires for heated seat?

any help would be very much apreiciated. I looked in my haynes but think it goes up to 1998 and the l&k wasnt released till later right??

cheers

The L&K was only released up to 1996 i believe.

The two switches are for electric windows.

The Haynes doesn't cover heated seats in much detail unfortunately!

There will be 6 connections are there are two seperate pads in the back and bottom of the seat.

If I get some new batteries in my multimeter I can find what wire does what at some point for you.

If you want to do the job properly get onto Vagcat http:// www.vagcat.com and browse through to the felicia section after registering for free and it lists all the parts and wires for the heated seats.

Good luck.

Phil

cheers phil.

I think i'll put seats in without heater for now as i have so much to do to my truck before thursday including a full paint job and replace front strut (which i just broke the nut and bolt head off!!!) replace bumper, headlight, tailgate, reinstall all interior etc etc.... but it would be good to get the wires in now under the carpet ( i might stick some wires under and connect later). If you ever do get your multimeter back up and running it would be really great if you could find out what does what and i'd be very greatful

Good idea... just stick enough wires under the carpet to connect up at a later date.

You should have snipped the connectors off the car for the switch and to the seats which would make it a bit easier.

Will have a look next weekend and figure out which wire does what!

Phil

i would if i'd have got em off myself.

i had to call him to ask for the dash switch as he wasnt going to give it me! but i think looking at that VAG site that he missed the on/off switch. i got the little block with the two dials on it.

cheers

That's all there is to control the seats... no on/off switch.

Should be just a matter off a switched live and permanent earth to the switch then the correct wiring to the seats.
