I have octavia 1.8tsi 1 year in china, the original oil is from VW and I instead in local dealer when the odograph showed 3000km 7500km ,I don't remember the part number.

now I want to change Castrol SLX Profassional Powerflow 5w-30 to my 1.8TSI engine.

Does anyone know is it fit the engine?

I don't know what the oil is, but I'd be fairly certain the oil will have to comply to VW504.0 standard.

Is there anything in the manual which gives you a list of oil numbers, such as VW504 etc as this will tell you the correct oils. Any oil approved to the correct standard will be fine for your car.
