Diesel Power Tuning. Any experience?

Featured Replies

Reading an old Auto Express at the in laws last night I stumbled across an article testing a DPT box fitted to a Ford C-Max TDCi. Seemed to get a favourable review including a 10 BHP increase and 10% better fuel economy.

I had a Superchip conversion done to my old 330D and was less than impressed. I do have an open mind though and wonder if these guys are worth a try. They claim 208 BHP for a VRS PD170 and hopefully an improved economy. They do do an econmy version too.

Anyone had any dealings at all with DPT???

They're just your standard fuel temp sender resistor mod, like the Evry mod. Good within their limitations, but not worth spending more than a tenner on. The tuning hierarchy goes something like: resistor mod, digital tuning box, remap.

No offence, but a search would have told you this...

No offence taken and a "thank you" added!!!

Why make effort when someone else can do it for you. First rule of management......

At least others can click one link instead of typing 3 letters into the search engine....

:finger:
