don't know what you are basing that on, saying that about the 1.9, its great, a good balance of enough usuable power and economy.

thank you all i will not change the car but i need your help to fix the doors and the front speakers

Any help?

Thank you in advance

Hi

I test drove a Passat a couple of times when looking at changing my car - I was keen on the Octavia but was concerned about build quality. I chose the Octavia in the end has I felt it handled far better than the Passat and was more suited to my 5'6" frame. I can't say the Octavia is faultless but having covered 30K miles so far I do not regret buying it.

Regarding your Octavia problems, as a start, use the search facility on this forum to find some threads relating to the problems you are experiencing. I do this all the time when something "odd" happens with my car - the most recent was unexpected service interval.

Good luck!
