Suspension issues - under warranty?

Featured Replies

Hi guys

Just been round the corner and back in the fabia and heard a few clunks... its 0ºc outside so I am hoping its just because its cold.

If they persist are the drop links and all those bits that go wrong covered under warranty?

I have 6 months manufacturers warranty left on the car and an additional 6 months added by the skoda dealer.

Many thanks

Yip, i had my drop links done a few months ago under warrenty, nae probs!

How many miles had you done and what age was your car? Mine is a 56plate with 24k.

It was supposed to have a 'skoda check' before we picked it up, I'd have thought they'd have picked up on something like that.

Hi

The drop links will be covered , but items like shockers etc... may be only covered to a certain mileage and age as these can be classed as fair wear and tear

ARB is another option......IIRC this could be down to the plastic parts on the ARB and at one point they was covered in to a 4th year of warranty

Good luck

Sarah

Yep should get that under warrenty like, I had my wishbones replaced under warrenty no problem even through I have heard folks say Skoda don't cover these!

I'll give it another drive tonight and see how it shapes up. Due to me being on my 2nd Fabia and knowing about the faults that can happen with them I might be being paranoid.

Thanks guys
