Range rover p38 2.5 td

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

Been having a look at my friends range rover tonight he has put some glow plugs in it , and somehow he has broken , what looks like a vacuum pipe .

it goes on the inlet manifold and then goes somewhere .

spent two hours trying to find what it attaches to , any ideas

Got a picture, what year is the engine?

Does the thing have an EGR, could it possibly be a pipe connecting to this.

Don't know myself, try asking on here,

or,

Or LRBoards.com, but LRO is probably your best bet, they've got a P38 as a project vehicle.

Which engine did the P38 have? It wasn't a Tdi, so probably BMW? Or was it the Td5?
