Detachable or not

Featured Replies

I need to get a tow bar fitted to my Octavia VRS.

I have been given a good price for a permantly fitted witter bar, but I have Factory fitted Rear Parking Sensors.

Does anyone have RPS and a fitted witter bar? Or do I need a detachable?

The RPS on the VRS are quite high so I would think a fitted one should be fine.

Thanks

i just had a towbar fitted to my vrs by towequipe, based in nuneaton.

i paid £264 for a detachable one, supposedly the same brand (westfalia) as skoda use. skoda wanted £720 inc fitting.

i think it was around the £220 mark just for the kit, so fitting it for around £50 is a bargain. they had it for 3 hours.

you cannot tell i have a towbar fitted and the electric hookup folds up out of the way too. neat.

try them, they do various types, and they do a mobile service as well, also lifetime guarantee.

i don't have parking sensors but that shouldn't be a problem.

hope that helps a bit
