Featured Replies

how many GB should the card be in order for bolero to read fast?

Its not the size thats the problem, its speed SDHC cards come in various sizes and speed. Get one the size you want, and get it with the highest class number you can find. Dont buy a cheapo one as it will most likely be slow.

SanDisk Ultra Extreme 3 , is the highest spec SDHC card I was able to find for a recent camera purchase...........you will find them reasonably cheap on Ebay.

Just make sure you get a genuine one, plenty of fakes around on ebay.

the rule of thumb I think we can all agree on is............if it looks too good to be true, it probably is !!

20 quid is a fair price to pay for a 4gb SanDisk.

Bolero will work with any size card, its only the columbus that has the 2gb limit.

Thanks Manny. Wasn't sure if the 2Gb limit applied to all the current units, or just the Columbus.

I can confirm, that Bolero reads SDHC 8gb card (Sandisk Extreme II)...tried it this weekend and it works very well.

I believe that non SDHC cards have an upper limit of 2GB ,so any equipment using non HC cards is limited to that. SDHC go up to 32GB
