Hi.

First of all, Sorry on my English language.

I have y. 2000 Octavia TDI (110 bhp). No remote c/l only c/l.

1.

Problem is when i'm outside the car and will lock the car with the key, only driver door gets locked, and other doors are still unlocked.

So I firs press the button on drivers door, close the door and then with the key lock this door to.

But when i unlock with the key all the door are geting unlocked.

2.

The interior light is always on (if in position only to lite when doors open). even if all doors are closed.

3. when I close and lock all the doors, the red LED wont lite.

Can enyone help me.

Is it the c/l control or what ????

Is it just the barrel part or whole mechanism within the door. Not sure where he is based, don't suppose you could give him a part number? ;)

the whole lock and there are about 10 choicers of them

I'm not sure I understand U.

How dose this mechanism look like?? How much dose't cost ???

How long dose't take to change this part or. parts at home ???

Is there any plan of how to do it by my self ??

If the Octy uses the same lock mechanism as the Golf IV, it may be worth checking the solder connections within the lock.
