R32 23MM front ARB

Featured Replies

Is the neuspeed 28mm RARB really worth the extra cost @ around £260.

Compared to the whiteline bar @ around £150.

YES...YES...YES, speaking from experience.

Right then nurspeed it is has anyone found it cheaper that jabba?

Hi Lummox,

I dont have any understeer, I used too before i changed everything, my car as it stands oversteers like a hooligan, I dont know why, it used to understeer terrible before the FSD'S, Neurspeed rear ARB, Neurspeed front upper strut, H&R Springs, poweflex bush upgrades all round and 19" wheels..

Im hoping beyond hope that the R32 front ARB will bring it somewhere back to neutral if not then alittle understeer as thats how I like it, but apart from that my drop links are shot and it needs doing ASAP and i have the droplinks and bushs for a 23MM FARB already so I may aswell give it a whirl, as it stands the car is just to pointy, scarely so at times!.

P.S if it does go back to the old standard of understeer then I can take of the front strut and go up a click on the rear ARB to counter it.. but im thinking that as it stands it "should" be semi nuetral afterwards.

I have a similar thing at the moment mate! Got the same setup as you apart from im running a 22mm rarb on middle setting.

Just recently im finding the car to twitcy and to stiff, looking back when i just had the rarb and oem suspension the car seemed to me to handle better with the crap roads around here!

It does'nt feel as balanced as before, and like yourself prefer slight understeer/ neutral feel, ive had the rarb on the softest setting for a while and it improved it.

Yesterday i took the rear arb off (well just undid the bolts and cable tied it up for now) im going to run it for a week like this and see what it's like.

I was going to get a front arb too but thought this was worth trying out first to see if the balance is better.

I know some off you will think ive gone mad and lost the plot, but no harm in trying it out, on a short drive it felt slighty better but to early to say yet. I may also try it out on the second to hardest setting, or hardest as i have never done this so may find it's better on that setting. Going to try different settings over a few weeks and see what i prefer.

Thing to remember is the fsd's and srpings are alot harder then the oem stuff so these on their own maybe enough with no need for the rarb.

After some more thought, think i might go for a r32 front bar too, which is 23mm, and keep my rear adjustable 22mm, should be more balanced plus i have the opition of adjusting the rear.
