Help.....Date of production?

Featured Replies

I had just bought a new Fabia II 2009 and I can't find the year of production anywhere on the car also the dealer can't find it??

Has anyone knows where I could find it??

VIN View /// AnalogX

Pop your VIN in here & decode.

Or the tenth digit of your VIN is the model year.

Model year and year off production are 2 different dates I think he wants to know the actual year and month it was built. Model year go from oct to sept each year.

Some components will have a stamp or sticker stating the date and time that it was made. I have often seen this printed on steel wheels. Plastic components often have two circles on the back with arrows pointing to numbers, these numbers are usually the month and year.

Thanks alot guys............Really appreciated :)

Another place to check is the rear light cabling, They usually (Fabia MKI) have a factory picking label around it, Which narrows build date down to a window of a couple of weeks. May well be the same in the Fabia II

Your dealer can tell you the exact date by looking up your chassis number on ETKA.

on this site iI used to cheeck the date of production and it was ok

I know someone who just bought a new Fabia sport. All dates stamped on the parts are 11/07 etc. Seems the car is made a year! Rust on the disks and oxidation on the alu bits in the engine.

Newer Sport models are lowered 15mm, earlier ones are not
