door control module

Anyone know how much this part is likely to cost me, from somewhere other than Skoda?

it's the door control module (complete with window regulator) apparently

I phoned the Skoda garage, and despite the problem being EXACTLY the same as many owners have detailed on here (water ingress rusting out several of the lower pins in the connector) Skoda told me they had never heard of this problem.

Yeah right Skoda - you're lying (at least my local Skoda garage are anyway)

As far as I know the motor comes seperatly.

Skospares John.

I've been researching this myself.......You're right they do rust the pins as water gets in. Today.... its 330+VAT.

What did you do in the end. I appreciate the post is a few years old.

Thanks in advance

You can now try eBay copies, or go to a scrap yard and take them out of any Octavia. Always worth taking as many as you can, so you’ve got spares.
