Just bought complete S3 head with cams :thumbup:watch this space;)

quality:), whats the expected output with the new head and cams then. i take it the LSD has been put back again:O

dont really know what will be got from it, worth a punt to see what happens

what is different between the the vRS head and the S3 head. obviously the cams. but do you actually need the s3 head or could you have just chucked the s3 cams in the std vrs engine and adjusted the mapping to suit

I think S3 cams on their own would be fine - but with the labour to swap out its probably as cheap to source a complete head.

definately in that case id guess with an s3 getting sold for parts but i cant imagine it happens often.

do you have to have a k04 conversion for these cams,

ive been ok'd by the wife to spend upto stage 2+ but not k04. id be able to convince her the cams were part of it if it'd work
