Have you tried a crowbar and lump hammer :D

Jonno(hope this helps)

Should you really be talking about fur lined boxes on a family forum

You probably need to remove the door cards in order to get that thing out.

It annoys me too with CD's rattling around it so I normal turn the stereo up.

I don't know why they dont have the split type glove box like the furby does.

Ahem - Is it just my warped mind, but I saw this and thought it was in some way related to Boyced's thread on the photoshoot / calender girl! Don't we all want a fur lined box! :naughty:

(excuse me while I go for a cold shower!)

Well if thats your preference :D

There are 6 T10 torx screws.

4 at the top and two at the bottom.

After those are removed it will lift straight out.

i forgot to get meself a torx set,so have had a go without.

just over an hours work,cost

Ah no wonder my comments didn't make any sense  I thought you were referrring to the door pockets :D.

i thought thats what you meant after a re read, hve lined the bottom of them with felt too, just hate that grating noise when cornering, hollow plastic :thumbdwn:

Looks good Jason, noisy plastic glovebox annoys me too but did you see the measly little plastic catches to keep it closed?

didn't delve to deep,i took out the two hinge pins and then realised there was more holding it in than that,so put them back and struggled on with it all in place

Jason... are you a jailor ?

  • Author

more likely to be the other side of a jail door mate,in the old days

lol

true, easy as pie to remove, remove the few screws, open the passenger door and it pulls forward and sideways slightly and hey presto, one big glove box, complete in your hands, just don't forget to unplug the light. removing this also makes stereo fitting a breeze
