I just had a response to the email I sent him and he sources the sets from abroad so there's no chance of picking them up. For those of you who have bought from him how long does it typically take for you to get them?

Next day i think?

well i got mine through ebay and i recieved them this morning £198 :D

I just checked his eBay and it says he is located somewhere in Wiltshire so it won't be a massive detour on the way home to get them. I'll contact him nearer the time to see what can be done.

I email him to ask about picking a set up. He replied saying that he his located abroad!

well i got mine through ebay and i recieved them this morning £198 :D

so was it you who outbid me ?

i got a second chance offer which i didnt accept and now the fella has banned me from bidding on his auctions and wont reply to any emails

I have managed to obtain the last tin of Hammerite Smooth Green in my local car shop which is lucky. Now all I need to do is but a brake set. So far the only one I've found are the sets vag-bitz is selling, he does have the option of make him an offer so what realistically should I offer him? Looking back in his history some have bought the sets for £260 so would this be a good price to offer him or pehaps lower? Also does anyone know of any other sets about preferrably unpainted unless already in the correct shade of green?

£260 seems an OK price if it includes discs and pads.

I got my 312mm calipers and carriers off ebay for £150, then got some discs and pads for £70.

Got my 312mm calipers and discs and pads from Golf Turbo on here last year. I think it was about £280.
